Feeding and Medications
High quality dry and canned food is available for both the dogs and cats. Special food and prescription diets will be fed and medications administered only if supplied and packaged by the owner (see below). All pets are fed in the morning, with second meals, if requested, served in the afternoon. A bisquit is given at bedtime. There is an additional charge for dispensing medications more than twice daily. All the dishes that the animals use are supplied by the kennel and are washed and disinfected daily.
Instructions for Packaging Food and Medications:
Each day's total amount of food is to be packaged individually in its own zip-lock plastic bag and labeled with the following information:
- Pet's name
- Pet's breed and color
- Owner's last name
- Feeding instructions (wet, dry, canned meat, etc.)
- Indicate if the pet is to be fed once or twice a day.
- Bring all the bags of food in a grocery bag labeled with the same information as on the indidual meal bags.
All medications must be in 7 day pill boxes and clearly labeled with the following information:
- Pet's name
- Pet's breed and color
- Owner's last name
- Dispensing instructions
